Join us for a hike and lunch in Great Falls, Maryland! We’ll start our hike from Old Angler’s Inn and head along the Potomac for a short hike. We’ll pass by the Washington Aqueduct, DC’s first public water system built in 1853, and continue to Great Falls Overlook to take in the sights.
From here, we’ll have the option to head back to Angler’s either along the Canal’s towpath or a more strenuous route along the water. Once back at Anglers, we’ll celebrate our triumph of the trail with drinks and lunch! The hike will take 1-2hrs depending on which return route the group chooses. Be sure to pack sunscreen and wear appropriate shoes.
Attendance is limited to 12 hikers, so sign up ASAP.
