This interactive virtual workshop is designed for leaders of the Reservoir Center partner organizations to enhance their communication skills and effectively convey their work and success stories. The workshop will be led by Travis Loop of waterloop, a media partner at the Reservoir Center.

What to Expect:
- Introduction to Elevator Pitches: Discuss the significance of an elevator pitch in the context of organizational communication and review examples of effective pitches.
- Crafting Your Pitch: Roll up your sleeves and start crafting your personalized pitch. The session will guide you through each component, ensuring your message is clear and impactful. Learn the three-legged messaging stool technique, which includes creating a top-line message supported by a relevant statistic, a memorable soundbite, and a compelling story.
- Presentation Skills: Learn valuable advice on how to present yourself confidently on camera, including speaking tips and body language techniques. Plus pick up tips on how to best use a cell phone to record videos for use on social media.
- Recording Your Pitch: Each participant will have the opportunity to record their pitch on camera, which can be used to communicate your organization’s work and will also be featured as a part of “Voices of Reservoir.”
- Networking and Snacks: Enjoy light refreshments while networking with fellow participants. Share your experiences, gain feedback, and build connections.
