Water Week Pitch Lab & Networking Reception

Kick off Water Week at the Reservoir Center with interactive support to refine your Capitol Hill message, and a relaxed networking reception designed to help water sector advocates head into congressional meetings more confident and prepared.
5:30 p.m. — Reception Opens

- Optional: One-on-one pitch coaching sessions in private rooms (Sign up for a slot)
- 15-minute sessions with experienced government affairs professionals, including former Hill staffers designed to give you practical feedback on your congressional pitch, message clarity, and ask. Slots are limited and must be reserved ahead of time.
6:00 p.m. — 6:35 p.m.— SRF Funding Briefing and Messaging Tips
- SRF funding update from Andrew Kelley, Deputy Legislative Director on Water Policy, Senator John Boozman.
- Andrew will provide a concise look at the current state of State Revolving Funds (SRF) before the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, where the funding stands in the appropriations process, and how Capitol Hill offices are hearing from constituents about SRF strengths and challenges.
- Former Congressional staffers Angela Ebiner and Joe Brown will share tips on what advocates should know as they engage during Water Week and upcoming fly-ins.
6:35 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. — Open Reception
- Connect with water sector peers
- Follow-up on insights from the briefing
